Great results for Bresso Fencing this weekend at the Epee Open qualification region Lombardy: 12 yellow-blue athletes qualified for the first Epee National competition that will be held the first weekend of November in Bastia Umbra.
Among #BressoBoys great performance of Fabio Barbara winner of the competition. Qualified Francesco Rossi (13), Alberto Arnone (22) , Matteo Scazzosi (49) and Filippo Massone, already qualified.
Great competition for all the fencers, particularly the new Cadets debuting in Open category: 62 Lorenzo Volpi, 66 Nicolò Strusani, 67 Filippo Di Betto, 100 Massimo Di Benedetto and Marco Vendramini, 103 Matteo Lombardi, 120 Emanuele Peviani, 122 Claudio Cremonesi, 159 Andrea Marossi, 169 Gabriele Tafuri and 179 Marco Cavaliere.
#BressoGirls strongly replied: Beatrice Ayres gets to finals and conquers a fantastic 5th place moving to the first National competition, together with the young Cadets Anna Gennari (13) and Arianna Scollo (15), Martina Provolo (19), Chiara Massone (27) and Marta Castigliola (29). Giulia Pasquali, already qualified, completes the group.
To be pointed out the many young Cadets, some of those in their first Open competition, in following positions: 52 Francesca Bellini, 60 Lisa Emmenegger, 63 Giorgia de Gaetano, 64 Rebecca Bellezze, 69 Annalisa Pasquali, 76 Sveva Chendi and Gaia Di Benedetto, 83 Ilaria Piazzolla.
