Last weekend In Brembate (BG) the second Epee Open qualification Lombardy was held.
Very many the athletes from Scherma Bresso on the pistes, hunting for the qualification to the second Caorle National Competition, road to Palermo 2019 Assoluti.
In epee women Beatrice Ayres wins, first at the end of the bouts and always maintaining the leadership, up to the highest podium step. Seventh place for Giulia Pasquali and, thanks to very good rankings, Arianna Scollo (17), Martina Provolo (19) and Marta Pelusi (23) are qualified for the next National competition. The other results: 43 Giorgia De Gaetano, 52 Marta Castigliola, 53 Annalisa Pasquali, 54 Anna Gennari, 62 Gaia Di Benedetto, 85 Rebecca Bellezze and 93 Sara Santisi.
In man competition Francesco Rossi ends just before the 8-final with an excellent 9th place that means the qualification together with the young team-mate Giovanni Volpini, 36. The other results: 52 Lorenzo Volpi, 75 Niccolò Strusani, 84 Lorenzo Mascia, 88 Matteo Scazzosi, 93 Filippo Di Betto, 113 Andrea Marossi, 115 Claudio Cremonesi, 126 Matteo Lombardi, 154 Iacopo Raspantini, 162 Massimo Di Benedetto, 173 Marco Cavaliere, 178 Marco Vendramini and 200 Gabriele Tafuri.
