A very intense competitions weekend for Scherma Bresso athletes, busy in Gerenzano for the 1st Regional Epee and Foil GPG competition. Above all, the shiny two first places for Elisa Chinnici and Edoardo Scavone, winning the Ragazzi-e/Allievi-e Epee categories and strongly leading the competition from the beginning with confidence and determination: a Scherma Bresso category dominion. But it’s not over. Here are all the Bresso Boys and Bresso Girls results for each category.
FOIL
In Maschietti category many Bresso Boys beginners: very good performance from Marco Michieletti conquering the fifth place and Giorgio Evangelisti, seventh. Enea Carnovali stops right before the eight final, ending 9th; 18 Alessandro Mantovani and 30 Alessio Paolino.
Flavio Perego jumps on the third step of the podium, beginning the new season with a bronze in Giovanissimi category. Alessandro Tentori is 9, one step before the final, Federico Arioli 18 and Luca Nostri 36.
In Ragazzi/Allievi category two important placings: a beautiful bronze with Simone Pezzuto and one-seventh place with Gabriele Villa; Giacomo Campana is 15, 19 Gabriele Tirrito, 20 Luca Lattuada, 22 Leonardo Milazzo, 26 Akash Nitti, 30 Edoardo Besana and 39 Riccardo Diazzi. The Ragazze/Allieve are also not deluding at all, with two Bresso Girls podiums: Giulia Evangelisti is sixth and Sveva Accorrà seventh. Valentina Izzo ends 14th.
EPEE
In Epee many Bresso Boys beginners on GPG pistes too, unfortunately without medals: Federico Scazzosi is 11, Lucas Cavaliere 17, Giorgio Pinto 20 and Riccardo Mantovani 37.
Among Giovanissimi Cristian Divittini gets the eight final ending fifth, while his category mate Mattia Iodice is 16.
In Ragazzi/Allievi Edoardo Scavone wins the first GPG competition; Ludovico Dutto is 28, Federico Casella 39 and Samuel Barragan 65. Among Ragazze Allieve Elisa Chinnici defeats all the 68 competitors conquering the first place.
Ten extremely important medals to begin this agonistic season at best: congratulations to all the participants and to the whole coaching staff supporting all the girls and boys on the pistes.
