Our U14 Epee and Foil athletes took part in the First International Fencing Challenge in Brescia: the first international trophy for epee and foil.
Foil
In Giovanissimi category Marco Michieletti ends 28 followed by team-mates Flavio Perego 35, Enea Carnovali 46, Giorgio Evangelisti 47, Luca Nostri 68 and Federico Arioli 69. Among Ragazzi/Allievi the best is Gabriele Villa 17th, Akash Nitti 20, Simone Pezzuto 36, Gabriele Tirrito 58, Edoardo Besana 71, Luca Lattuada 75 and Edoardo Mignanego 92. Among girls Valentina Izzo is 19° in Ragazze/Allieve category, Sveva Accorrà ends 45° and Giulia Evangelisti 50th.
Epee
Cristian Divittini, in Giovanissimi category, conquers the final and a fantastic eight place, only one medal of the weekend. Giorgio Pinto is 58th in Ragazzi/Allievi, Edoardo Scavone stops before the eight final ending 10th, Federico Casella is 18th, Ludovico Dutto 40 and Samuel Barragan 86. Elisa Chinnici also, in Ragazze/Allieve, misses the final, ending 12th.
Girls and boys, you still get experience from not successful performances, “if you don’t win, you learn”.
