After a year without competitions, between severe lockdowns and as much as possible training as I can (our fencing room has never closed, even during the summer months), Scherma Bresso is finally back on the platform in Brescia at the international Fencing Challenge. A race weekend for fencers Under 14, a weekend of normality in compliance with all the rules Covid-19 and with an excellent organization.
Here are all the results of this wonderful weekend, spent in the company of their teammates, teachers and the whole world of our wonderful sport.
On Friday Giorgio Pinto, in the category Young (epée), opened the dance and finished in 18th place. Excellent 7th place for Federico Casella in the category Boys/Students, Ludovico Dutto 18th, Cristian Divittini 21st and Mattia Iodice 41st.
In the foil the #Bressogirls Sveva Accorrà and Valentina Izzo respectively close in 18th and 14th place. Just one step from the final to 8 closes in 9th place Enea Carnovali, in the Giovanissimi category. In the last day of the race another podium arrived: the 3rd place for Gabriele Villa in the foil category Boys/Students while team-mate Flavio Perego ranked 34th place.
