Second race weekend at the Palasport in Gerenzano (Varese) with the first round of Qualification Youth: there are 12 Bresso Girls and Bresso Boys qualified for the National Qualifying. In the sword reach Arianna Scollo, Lorenzo Volpi and Giovanni Volpini, athletes of national interest in the top eight positions of the ranking Cadets, Sveva Chendi, Mattia Cremonesi, Gaia Di Benedetto, Giorgio Forti, Anna Gennari, Riccardo Gianoli, Niccolò Strusani, Marco Vendramini and Giulia Zalum.
In the excellent performance of Giulia Zalum winning the bronze and Anna Gennari the eighth place, Gaia Di Benedetto is 13th, Sveva Chendi 17th, Benedetta Fischetti 20th, Noemi Guastella 29th, Elisa Chinnici 32nd, Melizza Bozzella 37th, Gaia Zanardo 46th and Sara Zanardo 49th. In the men’s race Marco Vendramini enters the eighth by beating his teammate Niccolò Strusani and closes in sixth place while Niccolò in 11th place, Riccardo Gianoli 12th, Giorgio Forti 14th, Mattia Cremonesi 27th, Lupo Sala 33rd, Lorenzo Fumagalli 34th, Leonardo Lenelli 37th, Matteo Lombardi 38th, Edoardo Bozzo 42nd, Edoardo Scavone 52nd, Gabriele Tafuri 58th and Matteo Scazzosi 60th.
In the foil unfortunately no athlete qualified for the next stage, in the men’s race Simone Pezzuto is 38th, Akash Nitri 43rd, Luca Lattuada 46th and Mirko Colombo 53rd. In the women’s race Carlotta Lauri closes in 17th place and Giulia Evangelisti in 23rd.
